Marquis, Blue Box Elder, Gold and Black Hardware

This is an elegant and intricate pen (lower band has inlaid black diamond shapes) with excellent feel and weight distribution.  Boxelder burl displays light colors throughout its grain with variations ranging from cream to light brown. Swirling grain patterns and sharp, irregular changes are the hallmark of the boxelder burl. These variations are dramatic and enhanced when dyed with the blue colorant used for this pen.
